Story/Description of "A View Above Florence"

This is one of my first photographs.  I was beginning to show a photographic interest by taking my rangefinder camera (the one I use for mere snapshots while on vacation) and taking some sort of artistic shot.  This one was while on vacation in Florence, Italy.  the tour bus had driven us to this vista point overlooking Italy.  I had one shot left on the roll of film.  I was humored by the telescopes and the thought that they are designed to be looked through and not looked at, so I decided to photograph it and give it a chance to be seen.  I crouched down to get the view of Florence in the background (not your typical cityscape shot).  I was fortunate to have the weather and cloud cover as it was.  I think it really adds to the overall beauty of this photograph.
