It was early in the morning in Occidental California. I got up and was wandering around the house. I was in between jobs so I wasn't in any sort of rush. I lived in a house on a hill that overlooked a canyon. I looked out the window and was taken by the beauty of the mist in the trees. I didn't hesitate to go to my room and get out my camera and tripod. I took several shots. This one was my second favorite (click here to see favorite).
